Local library hosts contest based off of “Hamilton”

On April 6, the Meijer Branch Library of Jackson District Libraries will be hosting a Hamilton Throwdown.

Teenagers are invited to perform at this event and give their rendition of a song from the musical Hamilton. At the end of the event a winner will be chosen based on their performance.

The event is from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., and it is free.
