Within the halls of Northwest High School lie many talents. Typically, students will choose one outlet they excel at and focus on. However, among these students are the Tucker Twins. Although they are almost identical in appearance, they are unique in personality, talents, and life goals. Yet, they also share many similarities.
Senior Aiden Tucker plans to become a pilot, while his twin brother, senior Austin Tucker, is still developing his plans. Austin knows that he wants to attend Technique for their welding program after high school and does not intend to pursue college. Aiden is taking flight classes at Jackson Airport every Sunday to work toward his private pilot’s license. He also plans to attend Technique while simultaneously attending flight school, similar to his brother, and like Austin, he does not plan to attend college at this point in time.
Aiden Tucker has a strong passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). He values these subjects not only for the knowledge they provide but also for the creative freedom they offer in exploring new ideas and solutions. His enthusiasm is heightened by the fact that both of his siblings share this interest, creating a bond between them as they engage in various STEM-related activities.
Austin Tucker, Aiden’s brother, also finds joy in STEM. He appreciates the collaborative experiences it brings, whether they’re working on school projects, participating in science fairs, or experimenting with technology at home.
The shared passion for STEM fosters a supportive environment where they can learn from one another, discuss innovative concepts, and inspire each other to pursue their interests further. Together, they embrace the challenges and excitement that come with exploring the vast world of STEM.

The Tucker Twins have been together since birth, but they are both excited to finally develop their own identities outside of being known as twins or being constantly associated with each other.
Aiden Tucker shares his feelings about how much he loves his brother, but is looking forward to gaining his own individual personality, as he feels they are practically indistinguishable. According to Aiden, the twins share a car and work at the same establishment, which contributes to his struggle to feel different from Austin. Austin Tucker expressed similar sentiments, stating that he often feels disappointed by the constant comparisons to Aiden, even though they are distinct individuals.
“Aiden and I have an interesting relationship. I’ve often been compared to him and vice versa. I’m more into manufacturing plants and working in shops, while his dream is to be a pilot,” said Austin Tucker.
The Tucker Twins are among the most unforgettable individuals at Northwest High School. Their little sister, Kayleigh Tucker, as well as all of their friends and STEM teachers, are eager to see what the future holds for them. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye, everyone understands that growth is a part of life, and The Tucker Twins are embracing this change in their unique ways.
