Unlike the past few years due to extended winter conditions, the Boys Golf team was able to start their season on-time on Monday March 14.

Due to an increase of interest in the program, Coaches Mrs. Martha Cantlin and Miss Tracy Dryer held tryouts over the first few days and took averages from three separate scores for each boy.

After making final decisions, the group of around 20 boys was cut down to around 14, keeping in mind past experience and how each member performed in each round.

With the season now under way and the team finalized, the boys plan on being out at Hankerd Hills Golf Course every day to better their game, weather permitting.
