Ties and Tiaras double dance sells hundreds of tickets

Northwest’s Yearbook staff kicked off their annual Ties and Tiaras dance on Saturday, December 3. Because of the great success in past years, they started splitting the dance into two different locations.

Dance #1 was from 5- 6:30 p.m. and sold out with a whopping 450 tickets. Dance #2 sold 329 tickets and was held from 7:30-9 p.m. Although very successful, they sold 30 tickets less than last year, but Miss Marnie Hade believes it was due to the Michigan vs. Purdue game.

She gives a huge shoutout to the Yearbook students and everyone involved for moving the dance from the gymnasium to the cafetorium. She is looking forward to keeping this tradition alive in the future.
