Disney’s Deadpool and Wolverine movie is the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever created, surpassing The Warner Bros Joker. This film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, got a whopping seventy-eight percent on the Tomatometer from Rotten Tomatoes.
The movie was released on July twenty second, 2024, and since then, it has seen great success. General Manager, Julie Rehse of Jackson 10, had about 5,972 ticket sales on the release week. Jackson 10 gained almost $50,000 from the film.

According to a Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC) article posted in August, Deadpool and Wolverine has sold $516 million in domestic ticket sales. The movie has exceeded $1 billion worldwide.
The film had a variety of promotion methods like movie trailers, where they showcased clips and scenes of the movie, or TikTok skits that flew around the internet as fast as ever, as well as brand deals to name a few.
According to a Variety newspaper, Deadpool and Wolverine spent about $100 million on the promotions, and another $200 million on the production itself. Disney went as far as to pay $7 million to get a thirty-second commercial in the Super Bowl LVIII, which then, according to The Hollywood Reporter, became the most-watched trailer ever, with 365 million views in just twenty-four hours.
This includes a promotion with Spotify, of an official music playlist of Deadpool and Wolverine’s soundtrack. The playlist was announced through a podcast skit from Deadpool and Wolverine. All of these getting fans extremely hyped for the movie.

Junior Jocelyn Miller from Napoleon High School first heard about the film over social media posts, with family and friends constantly talking about it. Once the release date rolled around, she decided to watch it a couple of weeks later, and it was one of the best movie experiences of her life.
¨I leave impacted and affected when I watch something great that is skillfully made with passion,¨ said Miller.
She goes on to state that Deadpool and Wolverine was a very memorable movie experience.
Along with Deadpool and Wolverine having extremely thought-out and calculated promotion tactics, the movie, according to professionals and the general public, is an experience like no other.
