Many people around the world wear false eyelashes. There are many different kinds of lashes and methods of applying them.
I have been wearing lashes since I was around 12 years old. I started a little young, but not everyone does.
The global false eyelash market was valued at 1.5 billion in 2024, which shows me that most people wear false lashes. Looking at the global false lash market, I would also say that lashes have become more popular over the past couple of years.
I wear lashes because they make me feel more confident. I know how it feels to be a young teenage girl when you are worried about your face, clothing, shoes, and hairstyles in fear of being bullied for your looks.
It can be difficult going through high school with all the different styles and random life crises throughout the years. You can see throughout high school that people change quite often with their looks and clothing, and sometimes do not even look the same when they graduate compared to their freshmen year.
I have been doing lashes for years and have tried many different types of lashes, but my favorite would have to be clusters. Clusters are better because they are individuals, so they come out looking like you have professional eyelash extensions, which are the best lashes you can get!
The application of lashes can be difficult, depending on whether you have practice or not, but you get the hang of it after a while.
The first step is to buy them on TikTok shop, Amazon, SHEIN, or any store that carries them, which is pretty much any place that carries beauty supplies.
The sets come with lashes, the bond, the seal, tweezers, and a remover for the lashes, but you can also get all these products separately. The bond is the glue, and the seal keeps the lashes on after you apply them.
Then, once you get the supplies, you want to go to the bathroom and wash your eyelashes because you do not want any makeup or unnecessary oils on your lashes, or the lashes will not stick and stay on your eyes.
Then, after that, you want to grab the bond and you are going to put it on your lashes. DO NOT apply it like mascara, just apply it on the bottom root of your lashes, but not on your waterline.
If you apply it like mascara, your lashes will have the bond all in them and they are not going to look good, they will be chunky because of the bond and they will not stick because there’s too much product on your lashes.
Then, you are going to put some bond on the top part of the lash that is going to be on your natural lash.
Then, once you have the bond on them, grab some tweezers and pick the lash up by the bottom root so they do not rip because they definitely will!
Then, you are going to put some bond on the top part of the cluster that is going to be on the base of your lashes.
After that, you will apply the lash to the ROOT of your lash. As I said, there are many different ways to use them, but you have to put them on the bottom root of your lash, or else they will look tacky.
When applying the lashes, you do not want to put them on your water line because it will poke your eye and come off quickly. After all, they will irritate your eyes and constantly have moisture under them, and the lashes will not stay for a couple of days or weeks like they are supposed to.
Finally, you are going to grab the seal part of the wand and put it on the bottom roots of your lashes.
You can also close your eyes and get the top of your lashes with the seal as well so they stay longer! Then, you want to put the seal on the tweezers and clamp your lashes together.
Once you’re done with all these steps your lashes should look amazing!
