During the last season of sports, teams such as tennis, golf, soccer, baseball and softball are beginning practices and already starting to compete in games.

“We are a bit more experienced this year. That should help us do better than last year,” said soccer coach Mr. Collins. “As soccer players they should be increasing their soccer skills, such as: passing, dribbling, shooting, and understanding of the game. As people, I hope they learn to appreciate each other and learn to problem solve.”

Each year all teams must learn new skills to help them keep up with their competition. The old skills also need to be kept up and be taught to the new players so he team can strive each year.

“We have both a mix of experience and youth. We are returning seven seniors and one junior from last year’s lineup,” said baseball coach Mr. Klinger. “Our schedule is a little tougher this year than it was last year. We have added some very strong programs to our schedule, but I fully expect these players this year to step up and find ways to be successful like they did last season.”

Even though the season just started all teams are hoping to do well this year and be on the top of their game.
