During the Varsity Boys’ and Girls’ game on Friday, Jan. 22, Northwest and Western held a coat and winter apparel drive. There were more than 350 items and $52.60 collected during the event. The items collected were donated and will be distributed to the Project Homeless Connect event at Jackson’s American One Fair Events Center on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

Donations:

• Northwest community: Over 300 items
• Western community: 56 items, $52.60
