The Varsity Girls Basketball team took home another win Tuesday, Mar. 8 to move on to the regional finals and improve their record to 22-2. The Mounties defeated Kalamazoo Central 57-59 after coming back from a ten point deficit in the third quarter.

A player from Kalamazoo Central was ejected from the game after shoving a Northwest player to the ground giving the Mounties a chance to hit three of four technical free throws to tie the game in the third quarter.

They now hold the record for most wins in a season by two, previously set at 20. The Mounties have the chance to be the first basketball team in school history to win a regional title.

A free spirit bus will be available to all students and will leave from the high school at 6:00 p.m. and return at 9:00 p.m. A $5.00 admission fee must be pre-paid in the athletic office as students sign up for the bus.

Regional finals are at 7:00 p.m. at Mason High School on Thursday, Mar. 10.
