National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that recognizes excellent students who demonstrate the four pillars of scholarships, service, leadership, and character.

NHS gives students great scholarship opportunities and looks great on resumes. It also gives students the opportunity to participate in community service.

NHS requires students to participate in eight hours of community service, tutor at the after school study lab once, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Students who have received an invitation can print out the application, which includes writing an essay on why they would be a good member.

The induction ceremony will be held Nov. 8 in the cafetorium. For any other information, contact Mrs. Randi Watts in Room 500 or Mr. Dean Menegay in Room 213.
