Northwest will be hosting an honor an officer event on Thursday, Oct. 12 during the varsity volleyball match.

  The event is being held in honor of National Thank a Police Officer day. Students are welcome to bring a relative or family friend who is currently serving as a law enforcement officer at any Michigan agency.

Students can register an officer by filing out a registration form. They are available in the office.

Registered officers will be admitted to the game for free, and will also receive a concession stand voucher for a free hot dog, drink, and pop corn as a way of saying thank you.

  The game begins at 6 p.m. Northwest will be playing Eaton Rapids.
